A theme I return to often in my work is the story of Adam and Eve and the subtexts of separation and loss. In this piece I used what is referred to as a true mirror. It is two pieces of mirrored glass that are placed at right angles to each other. The reflection in a true mirror is not the reversed image seen in a regular mirror but is a true reflection of reality. An additional effect of a true mirror is that the viewer will always see his or her own reflection in the mirror regardless of the angle.
