In the past I have worked with the vessel or container form. The surface of the form provides a circular canvas. The narrative of the piece works its way around the form, often coming back on itself. Another consideration with the vessel form is the inside. Some vessels are carved inside. Some contain something that relates to the narrative on the outside.
